Below are the Terms & Conditions of RJTuning the trading name of RJTuning Limited. These are intended to form a binding contract between us and you, our Client, as governed by the law of England and Wales. In proceeding with your remap you acknowledge and accept the following points within  these Terms & Conditions.

Neither we nor any third parties provide any warranty or guarantee as to the accuracy, timeliness, performance, completeness or suitability of the information and materials found or offered on this website for any particular purpose. You acknowledge that such information and materials may contain inaccuracies or errors and we expressly exclude liability for any such inaccuracies or errors to the fullest extent permitted by law.

We:

• Provide you with a 100% 14 day money back guarantee from the date of your ECU remap if there is an issue with the remap provided by us that we cannot fix,  by this we mean if the Vehicle is not fit for RJTuning Software then it must be proven without any doubt the software provided to you is at fault,  where it is found a vehicle is at fault by its own means a refund will not be given,  a service is chargeable for the removal of software installed previously, where no clear data is provided Ie: fuelling tables, boost logs etc both with tuning software and factory software it will be understood by owner & RJTuning  no correct checks have been performed to establish software fault, in all cases no refunds will be provided
• Provide you with a 50% 14 day money back guarantee from the date of your ECU remap if you want your vehicle’s original map returned back on your car for any other reason. Note: You must return your vehicle to RJTuning  at the address below when calling upon this guarantee otherwise, you will be charged our standard call out and labour fee as detailed near the end of our Terms of Business, RJTuning will not engage in claim request where third party bodies have used any form of software, data installer or diagnostics, RJTuning  will not accept liability if not given first instance to rectify any issue in the first instance, vehicles modified by software that have have existing warranty must be  within warranty conditions any vehicle found to be modified will automatically be rejected for claim as per vehicles own warranty this includes wheels,  exhaust headlights,  window tints and any other form of out of factory specification, RJTuning  are seeked for software changing, RJTuning  do not endorse modifications where any warranty can be made void, RJTuning  do not offer warranty on any used or second hand parts.
• Do NOT provide a refund where it is found the engine map installed by RJTuning  has been altered, tampered with in any form or downloaded by a third party by any means following the installation of the engine map by RJTuning where it is suspected this condition is broken a trust matter will break down and RJTuning  will assume this condition has been placed into risk,  RJTuning  Software is non copywrite protected however it is a condition that RJTuning software should not be altered or copied for the purpose of misue prevention, RJTuning also will provide non warranty against software removed by any other third party unless prior permission is granted by RJTuning in writing only. 
• Do NOT provide a money back guarantee where the  objective is to increase MPG from a remap, as MPG gains cannot be guaranteed,  Power Increase and where a Dyno Test isn’t performed it is accepted by you that you are purchasing a service of a estimate power,  in this instance no warranty is given against power readings 
• Do NOT provide a money back guarantee where it is suspected a vehicles condition is failing,  and where diagnostics is refused,  you accept that purchasing our software on a known vehicle fault or suspected,  a further issue may occur,  engines performance could be reduced,  you accept that RJTuning  software is fit for purpose 
• Do NOT provide a money back guarantee due to reduced fuel economy of your vehicle as it is explained to you both before the remap and at the time of our service that all remaps increase power (regardless of whether it’s an economy, blend or power remap) and an engine will NOT produce more power safely without being programmed to use more fuel.
• Provide a lifetime guarantee on the stability of your ECU remap. By this we mean your ECU remap will not reset itself or modify itself in any shape or form unless outside interference [human intervention] occurs
• Do Not provide vehicle map data via email or any form of storage device,  this includes stock back up and performance tuning,  requests for install will only be given at a booking made prior at charges outlined further in our business terms,  please see charges related to anything other than Remapping. 
• Do Not engage in any software dispute with another tuning company unless we have provided the original software,  for a review of vehicles software it must be compared to the vehicles actual back up data,  this applies to all recall software updates and all emmisions updates 
• Do not supply to any name or client that we feel or suspect is using our service to mislead,  promote or copy our service and data. 
• Do Not accept any responsibilty for Engines with modifications,  all software sold upto Stage 1 is sold for a a vehicle with NO Modifications this explained to you at point of sale,  RJTuning  will ONLY engage in any claim where the software meets the modifications requirement 
• RJTuning will only engage in any claim of responisbility where a vehicle is fully insured,  meets UK Laws and a full valid MOT
• RJTuning  does not offer warranty to – Track cars,  Accident damage recorded vehicles 
• Will retain a copy of your car’s original ECU map for your specific vehicle on our systems. Should your manufacturer or service garage accidentally wipe your ECU remap, we will for a small admin fee, re-install your chosen ECU remap.
• Where possible we will undertake a diagnostic check of your vehicle’s engine prior to your ECU remap. You will be informed of all faults on your vehicle, whether determined or pending, even if those faults are not engine map related, Where faults are found after install RJTuning advise not to proceed with the purchase, should this be ignored and still purchased there will be no form of of liability by RJTuning in the event of any claim.
• RJTuning does not supply tuning software or third party software to any other person than the owner of vehicle. 

You:

• Accept all power/torque gains from your ECU remap are approximate, as are the actual figures of your engine’s quoted power and torque figures from your car manufacturer, any claim made for low power readings from third party testers RJTuning will only engage in adhjustment where testing is provided to the original status of your software, RJTuning  do not accept claims for low power readings where vehicles have been modified, by this we mean all modification parts are different and act differently, RJTuning can advise and provide further services to seek the best possible power from a vehicle but this is based on a estimate of what could be achieved.
• You accept RJTuning Do NOT provide demo tuning to test a vehicles ability,  RJTuning Do NOT offer a trial period and all services are chargeable,  you accept RJTuning is providing a service and not a product,  where it is required to remove vehicle software this may be chargeable at RJTuning discretion,  where no fault is made as a direct result of RJTuning service the costings already taken will form part of or all a service upto date recieved 
• Accept the fuel efficiency of your vehicle after a remap depends on a number of factors including but not limited to: outside temperature, driving style, tyre pressures, and regular and correct service maintenance of your vehicle.
• Accept your vehicle meets all UK Standards and is fully insured
• Accept RJTuning are not responsible for any issues where a vehicle is modified DPF EGR deletes are a instant loss of warranty on software and manufacturing  warranty 
• Accept RJTuning can perform a full HPI Check for recorded damage at any time 
• Accept RJTuning do not offer support in vehicle modifications,  smoke issues and electrics 
• Accept where a third party mechanic accounts RJTuning as responsible a full live data reading and explanation of the tuning software must be provided,  if this is not provided our terms clause of third party software will be acted on any responisibility or claim will be voided( it is explained and understood that many Softwares now used to diagnose vehicles can also adjust vehicle settings,  if information is not provided RJTuning are not able to understand the changes possibly made by a third party,  please review clause where RJTuning should be the first instance
• RJTuning supply Software solutions for Dpf, Adblue, Egr and various other hardware and emission related areas of a vehicle, you will accept that RJTuning do not have any responsibility of a owners actions and you accept RJTuning have Informed you as the vehicle owner that current laws, standards and emission testing can be voided and deemed illegal for UK road use and where also in other countries, you accept RJTuning are a software supplier in the understanding the vehicle is being used Off-Road or for testing purposes by the owner, RJTuning advise you seek local laws and understanding and we do not condone breaking any laws 
• Accept RJTuning  are not liable for costs associated to fix either determined or pending faults found relating to your vehicle during its diagnostic check either before or after you have your vehicle remapped.
• Accept any power and torque increase to your car’s engine will accelerate the rate of wear of serviceable and mechanical items which can range from items including but not limited to clutch, flywheels, turbos, injectors, DPF’s, and EGR valves. By requesting RJTuning to tune your engine for increased torque and power, you are responsible for all costs associated with such wear and tear and RJTuning is not liable in any form for any costs incurred by you.
• Accept RJTuning is not responsible for paying for your fuel and have the right to charge additional funds to cover the expense of putting fuel in your car in order to have it remapped.
• Accept it is your responsibility to inform your insurance company of your car’s ECU remap.
• Accept if it is not possible to remap your vehicle due it being remapped previously or for any other reason, a call out fee of £60 will be charged to cover our time, fuel expenses and services provided up to that point.
• Accept RJTuning will charge a call out fee of £60 in addition to an hourly labour fee (or part therein) of £40 for any services not directly related to remapping or if you call upon our 50% money back guarantee and which restrict RJTuning from performing its core business of engine tuning
• You accept all RJTuning conditions to terms of business by vocal and visual prior,  during and after service. 
• You accept when using the service of HUB DYNO that you still meet uk laws when driving,  RJTuning are not responsible for the driver laws which include Speed laws,  You accept that when the HUB DYNO is being used the vehicle is being tested out of normal daily parameters,  you accept any damage resulting from the vehicle being tested at its maximum performance  is a risk taken by you and any damage will not be covered by RJTuning or any Insurance provider for RJTuning.  
• You accept that installing software designed to make a vehicle out of specification from manufacturing  is done at your own risk,  you accept your own vehicle condition,  you accept that failure of a engine is likely,  you accept any repairs are at your own costs,  RJTuning only accept claims where a vehicle is repaired and a same instance occurs where a full investigation can take place.
• You accept that    “It is illegal to drive a vehicle on the road after the exhaust system has been altered to increase noise levels or adversely affect the emissions. These modifications are anti-social, can damage public health and result in an MOT failure, this includes Dpf Delete, Decat, Egr Delete & Adblue delete, you accept that the software installed to the vehicle is for OFF ROAD USE ONLY, you accept all understanding of  regulation 54 of the Road Vehicles (Construction and Use) Regulations 1986, Section 76 of the Road Traffic Act 1988 and Schedule 2 to the Road Traffic Offenders Act 1988
• You accept that it is an offence under regulation 61(7) and 61A(3) To use a vehicle on the road that has been modified in such  a way it no longer complies with the air pollution emmisions standards it was designed to meet, under section 42 of the Road Traffic Act it is also an offence to cause or permit a vehicle to be used on a road that is non compliant with legal emmision requirements. 
• You accept RJTuning are a software supplier only and provide no hardware changes at any time, all responsibility to hardware changes will be the owners risk and understanding of current UK laws and Eu, Non Eu laws 
• Online file service, slave dealer network, all files are returned and complete upon purchase, joining the RJTuning network is a benefit for any user including both private domestic users and trade, RJTuning do not offer a coverage zone exclusion to any dealer or buyer, RJTuning are a seller and supplier of software only. Where a buyer requires refund of tuning software, logs and data should be provided and shown that a 100% file issue, this includes a clear detail file inspection using genuine only tools, and also the tool providers where required to ensure correct flashing has been completed.
